Reviews

Let me start by saying that I don't generally read contemporary romances, but I love Ciara and when she offered an arc for a review, I knew I wanted to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did! I connected with the characters right away and at the end of every chapter, I was compelled to keep reading, even long past my bedtime! 🙂 Neither Lisa or Eric are perfect, they both have painful secrets that they are scared to share with each other, but that's what makes their story so endearing. If you're looking for a sexy romance that will rev up your libido, this is not it, but if you want a compelling story line that will hook you and make you believe in being 'meant to be', then you will love this book. My only complaint is that it ended too soon! I was happily reading along until I much too quickly came to the words "the end". I can't wait to read about the next step in Lisa and Eric's relationship!

Winter In Sweetwater County is a beautifully written contemporary romance. The characters are believable and relatable as you feel their emotions tugging at your heart. I loved the small town Tennessee setting and how the residents really care about each other. I really liked Lisa and Eric who had secrets from their past that kept them from moving forward. Judy, Eric's mother and Lisa's business partner is the perfect mentor. The supporting characters made the plot more interesting.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good read. I look forward to more from Ciara Knight.

I am a big fan of Ciara Knight. I read her books as soon as they come out. Winter In Sweetwater County is a change from her usual futuristic writings. It is romance writing at it's best. Can't wait for the next three books in the series.

What a moving story. She talks about real life scenarios that people daily live through. I lived through every page of the torment Lisa must have gone through; but she is strong with the strength of will to survive... and she does. Moving out of NYC was the best thing she could have done for herself.

I wish there were more stars to give. This story was amazing! Nothing like an unlikely couple who are both dealing with issues, thrown together by a well meaning mom who is not willing to just sit back and get old! My heart was breaking for Lisa, but admired her choice which could not have been easy for her. It took a strong woman to do what she did, but she was definitely determined and even with her doubts she pushed through. Between the instant spark between Lisa and Eric and Eric's mom, this story had so many layers to it! Then add in the tension of the past come back to haunt them, you wonder if they will survive or if they will be dealt a cruel hand of fate. Ciara is such a talented author and holds your attention throughout the whole book. I wish towns like Sweetwater County still existed and I like to hope they still do in parts of the country. It is so refreshing to read how your neighbors rally around and have your back. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more from Ms. Knight.
